6. Visual representations are very helpful in the review process, for both the Planning <br />Commission and Board of County Commissioners (where applicable). Maps, photographs <br />and the like should be provided whenever possible. <br />PLEASE NOTE <br />The Teller County Planning Commission meets on the second Tuesday of every month. <br />Complete applications will be considered when submitted at least 60 days priorto the meeting, along <br />with all required information and appropriate application fee. Incomplete applications will be rejected. <br />Property must be posted by the applicant for at least 30 days prior to the Planning Commission <br />Hearing. Posters may be picked up at the Planning Department, with posting instructions. <br />Table 3: Review Process- Conditional Use Permit-Mining <br />Table 3 -Describes the sequence of the review process. All notices are completed by the Planning <br />Department. <br />-Applicant has obtained any required pre-approvals & met any required pre-conditions. <br />-A BOCC hearing is required after the hearing by the PC <br />-Pre-submittal meeting is required. <br />-Submittal deadline is 60 days priorto Planning Commission meeting. <br />-Staff has 2 weeks, beginning no later than 60 days before hearing, to reject as incomplete <br />or accept the application. <br />-Staff sends notice or application to review agencies at least 30 days before hearing. <br />-Property posted 30 days before hearing. <br />-Notice mailed 30 days before hearing. <br />-Notice published 10 days before hearing. <br />-Staff report provided to applicant at least 2 days before hearing. <br />-Applicant may request up to 2 hearing postponements, but no later than 6 months after <br />submitting the application. If application is still pending 1 year after submittal, planning <br />official may require new application. <br />- PC conducts hearing and makes recommendation <br />-8000 hearing is 2 to 6 weeks after PC hearing, depending on notices and workload. <br />-B000 conducts hearing, makes decision <br />-Subsequent required approvals (if any) are obtained priorto start of construction (or <br />occupancy ,depending on application type.) <br />Table 4: Review Agencies-Conditional Use Permit-Mining <br />Table 4 -Identifies agencies that will be notified of the request by the Planning Department <br />Required - <br />-Local governments <br />
