Dept. of f~atural Resources <br />RE: Henderson Pit <br />File: #80-110 <br />The following answers are in response to your letter of <br />June 4, 1980, requesting needed information. <br />Mining Plan <br />Approximately 6 to 12 inches of topsoil will <br />be removed for mining purposes and stockpiled <br />on the property. After completion of mining, <br />this same topsoil will be used for reclamation <br />and approximetely 6 to 12 inches will be replaced <br />on affected areas. For verification, please <br />refer to Page 3 (Subsurface Conditions) of the <br />Preliminary Gravel Investigation prepared by <br />Fisherman Company and included in the written <br />report, and Map #7. <br />Reclamation Plan <br />We are in agreement with the recommended seed <br />mixtures as set forth in your letter and will <br />incorporate them into the plan. <br /> <br />Trees and shrubs, of the types described in the <br />written report, will be planted in clusters of <br />3 to 5 with space between trees of approximately <br />10 feet. Distance between clusters will be <br />approximately 50 feet. An average of 45 trees <br />andjor shrubs will be planted per acre.
