A third vent hole is located just to the east of the drainage bottom immediately to the
east of the St. Jude Mine site. The vent appears to be a 3' hole, and it has a steel casing
extending a few inches above ground level. The casing is covered by a tin sheet and secured
with rocks. The Operator has placed a "Danger" sign at this site. There are a number of old
trails and drill roads around the site, so a specific access road is not noted. The site is well
revegetated and indiscernible from the surrounding terrain.
None of the historical vent holes have been utilized, to the best of the Operator's
knowledge, since the Permit was issued. Generally the vent holes enter into areas of the
mines that have long since been mined out and are inaccessible.
3
