<br /> <br />This document is the written fmdings of the Division of Minerals & Geology (Division) <br />concerning the completion of all reclamation activities as outlined in the Settlement <br />Agreement (Agreement) dated 6/20/90, between the Division and Rockcastle Coal Company <br />(Operator). The mine site is the Grassy Gap mine located in portions of Sections 15, 16, 20, <br />21, 28, 29 and 32 of Township 5 North, Range 87 West, in Routt County, Colorado. These <br />findings are organized by each numbered section of the attached Settlement Agreement <br />followed by a summary of any outstanding items remaining to be completed as of the <br />creation of this document. <br />Section I -Introduction <br />No fmdings required. <br />Section II -Grassy Gap Site Reclamation Activities <br />Part 1 a <br />Backfilling and grading of Pit 4 has been completed. This has been verified by numerous <br />site inspections and final pit configuration is as represented on Map R-1 which was derived <br />from an aerial flight dated 10/16/90. The operator has complied with this part of the <br />agreement. <br />Part lb <br />The operator did not leave any excess or permanent overburden material at the site. All such <br />materials were utilized in the reclamation process. Therefore, this part of the agreement is <br />not relevant. <br />Part lc <br />
