10) Exhibit 17 - Bond
-5-
a) There are no bond calculations included in Exhibit 17. The
final, approved figures should be inserted here.
11) Exhibit 20 - NPDES Permit
a) The current NPDES permit should be inserted and the old
permit removed from this section.
12) Exhibit 22 - Special Use Permit
a) WFC should revise the special use permit to reflect
transfer of ownership if necessary.
IV. Maps
a) Maps 1 and 2 - Any changes in surface or mineral ownership
should be reflected. The owners of the "tracts" should be
listed. In addition the numbers under the owners names
(i.e., Chacon (6)) should be explained.
b) Map 3 - The current extent of mining should be depicted on
this map, as well as any changes in the mining schedule due
to temporary cessation or other reasons. A discussion on
how the current schedule affects the subsidence monitoring
schedule should be included in the narrative section.
c) Map 5 - There are no problems with this map. However, WFC
should explain why the archaeology investigation was
limited to the area shown on the map, and did not include
the entire disturbed area.
d) Map 10 - This map shows that a potential of 2-5 feet of
coversoil is available. WFC may wish to consider this in
the refuse area contingency reclamation plan.
e) Map 12 - The road classification map must be revised to
depict all the roads which are currently on site. The
May 9, 1985 submittal prepared by Steve Magnuson has some
of the needed elements, such as Haul road R-1 and the
Apache Canyon road. However, the revised map does not
include the mine boundaries, and may be in error at the
water tank road takeoff point.
The Division finds that based on the mid-term review of
road usage, the roads should be classified as follows:
Haul: Road R1 to Highway 12
Light Use: Apache Canyon road
Mine water intake pond road
Water Tank Road
Access: All other roads
