(Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase Nc Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of August 22 through August 28, 2004. The weather during this reporting period was clear to cloudy. Approximate daytime low temperatures ranged from 35° F to 47° F, and highs ranged from 50° F to 77° F. Weather observations were made on seven days of this seven-day reporting period. Construction Synopsis Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase Nc construction. Ames conducted Phase Nc construc6on activities on six days of this seven-day reporting period (August 23 through August 28, 2004). Poly-Flex conducted Phase Nc construction activities on six days of this seven-day reporting period (August 23 through August 28, 2004). Phase Nc Ames continued limited Structural Fill (SF) cut to fill and slope re-contouring activities along the Phase Nb /Phase Nc tie-in area above the LOB. Ames continued excavation and construction of two Leak Detection Trenches (LDT) in the eastern portion of the Phase Nc VLF. Ames constructed approximately 150 feet of LDT during this reporting period. Additionally, Ames constmcted approximately 250 feet of LDT extension outside the western limits of the Phase Nc VLF and installed the western LDT collection sump. Ames hauled, placed, and compacted Soil Liner Fill (SLF) material into the Phase Nc OSA, on the Phase Nc 16 August 22-August 28, 2004 043-2170
