Box 2045 <br />Granby, CO 80446 <br />970-531-9670 <br />July 12, 2007 <br />Tom Schreiner <br />Division of Reclamation Mining & Safety <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Dear Tom: <br />On July Io, 2oo7I was leaving Silver Creek in Granby, CO at 8:2o a.m. a, fter <br />inspecting a couple of my jobsites with Dave Lorenz when we observed, a black <br />Peterbuilt with white stripes pulling a cream colored belly dump, pull out on the <br />main road to US 4o from Io mile creek drive (the road from the Silver Creek pit <br />@ Granby Ranch). <br />We followed the truck and trailer to Winter Park where we observed the truck <br />dump a processed material (looked like class 6) at 8:45 a.m. on the side of the <br />truck was the name Craig Bishop. The belly dump had a license plate <br />#528HXL, Colo Tag. Dave Lorenz took pictures of this truck dumping material. <br />I talked to Dave the Granby town manager who went out to observe the truck <br />leaving Silver Creek with a load.
