As I indicated in [hat
letter, our [oral disturbance in the Williams Fork drainage a[ [hat site is
21.54 acres. Of [his total, 12,58 acres are occupied by a topsoil stockpile
[h a[ was seeded and straw mulched last Fall. Since my letter of March 27, two
dozer basins have been placed to intercept runoff Erom [he topsoil stockpile and
the ungraded spoils. Based on the location of [he site (at the crest of the
drainage divide), the vegetation, and the area affected, it would no[ be useful
Co establish any further controls. Moreover, any work in [he area a[ [his time
would be very damaging because of snow cover and wet ground conditions. In
fact, any additional sedimentation structures would result in significantly more
disturbance in [he drainage Chan exists now.
Dean, I hope this information will assist your decision. Please call if
there are any more questions.
WES:jsb
cc: J.L. Balzer
D.L. Humphreys
R.C.
