The following is <br />the Division's understandiny of the status of each stipulation. <br />Stipulation No. 1: This is an ongoing stipulation, concerning the <br />chemical and physical analysis of the roof and floor material from the <br />upper carbonera coal seam and all interburden strata between the upper <br />carbonera and cameo coal seams. This stipulation must be satisfied six <br />months prior to driving rock slopes between the two seams. <br />n o. Th s stipulation concerns dewatering devices for the <br />be~o~ e ~ t_ nds and sediment cleanout markers. This <br />~~ lation is due on July 12, 1983. <br />(Stipulation No. 3: This is an ongoing stipulation concerning an annual <br />(mine inflow report. This stipulation will remain in effect throughout <br />this permit term. <br />Stipulation No. 4: This stipulation concerns monitoring of yroundwater <br />at the waste rock disposal area. This stipulation will be satisfied upon <br />the collection of one-years baseline data. <br />Stipulation No. 5: This stipulation concerns limiting production until a <br />revised air quality permit is obtained. This stipulation will be <br />satisfied upon submission of a revised air quality permit. <br />Stipulation No. 6: This stipulation concerns sampling of material in <br />areas that will not be topsoiled upon reclamation. A response has been <br />submitted but the results are inconclusive. In addition to the surface <br />sample which has already been collected and analyzed, Salt Creek Mining <br />Co. must collect and analyze samples from depths of 1-2 feet, 2-3 feet, <br />and 3-4 feet. <br />a23 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
