RESEARCH OF PUBLIC RECORDS
The Colorado Department of Health (CDH) was contacted in Denver at their Hazardous Materials
and Waste Management Division. At this location nine different inventories are available and
all were researched. The inventories researched were:
1. LUST -Leaking Underground Storage Tank Inventory
2. RCRA - TSD Facilities Permit Status
3. RCRA -Hazardous Waste Notifiers List
4. UST Inventory -Underground Storage Tanks (not leaking)
5. Solid Waste Landfill Listing
6. SARA Title 111 Inventory (section 3l3 only)
7. CERCLIS - Site/Event Listing
8. EPA Superfund Sites
9. ERNS -Emergency Response Notification System (since 1990)
The Esgar Corporation properties and immediately surrounding areas were not listed on any of
these inventories.
- CONCLUSIONS
Based on the information gathered, this firm does not see the need for a Phase II Environmental
- Audit on these properties, due to the relatively benign activities that have and are currently
occurring here.
Best management practices should be continued on these properties to prevent severe soil erosion
and degradation of the sites.
c\94102ryt.d«
5
b
4
