<br />' See Section 3.D.3 for more discussion on the reclamation plan. <br />I.F Compliance with the Appropriate Agencies <br />In addition to the Use by Special Review from Douglas County, the Castle Rock Quarry proposal <br />will also receive the following permits prior to commencing the operation: <br />I) An Air Pollution Emission Notice (APEN) permit from the Colorado Department of <br />Health; <br />2) Nationwide permit from the Army Corps of Engineers; <br />' A Storm Water Management Plan and Storm Water Dischazge Permit have already been <br />obtained. <br />' 1.G Water Availability <br />The water needs of the operation are minimal. The lease with the landowner allows for the <br />drilling of a deep well. If for some reason hauling water proves inconvenient, CMI can drill a <br />well as the source of water. <br />' 1.H Wastewater Treatment <br />' Sanitation will be handled by portable toilets maintained by a private contractor. <br />' 1.I Fire Protectiou <br />The property lies within the Franktown Fire Protection District. In addition, hand-held fire <br />fighting equipment will be provided on-site according to safety regulations. <br />1.J Impacts to Flora and Fauua <br />See Appendix 3 for a complete discussion of the plants and animals on the site. <br />' I.K Impacts to County Services <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />This operation will have virtually no impact on community services. Occasionally the operation <br />may require some law enforcement if theft or vandalism occurs on the property. The access <br />roads will be gated to prevent public access during non-wcrking hours. No additional road <br />maintenance is required, as this operation replaces the existing Ditmars operation. <br />8 <br />
