e. Minor Revision MR-40 was submitted on 13 May 2004 and proposed for approval on <br />18 May 2004. This revision addressed the cattle-grazing plan for 2004. <br />f. Minor Revision 41 was submitted 15 November 2005, providing updates to the <br />ownership and control section of the permit application package. Tlvs revision was <br />proposed for approval on 23 November 2005. <br />g. Minor Revision 42 was submitted on 6 January 2006 and withdrawn on 16 January <br />2006. <br />4. Bond Release Requests <br />a. Partial Phase I bond release request SL-Ol was submitted to the Division on 18 April <br />1994 and found complete 21 April 1994. The application covered Phase I bond release <br />of the 720 pit and of Pit 1. Approval was proposed for those two areas on 13 June 1995 <br />and 23 January 1996 respectively. <br />b. Partial Phase I and Phase II bond release request (SL-02) was submitted on 21 <br />September 2000 and found complete on 9 November 2000. Approval was proposed on <br />26 June 2001. The release request addressed the backfilling and regrading of the loadout <br />and vegetation establishment and hydrological restoration for the 720 Pit and Pit 1. <br />c. Partial Phase I bond release request SL-03 was submitted on 17 May 2001 and found <br />complete on 13 August 2001. The request addressed the backfilling and regrading and <br />drainage reestablishment of the Man Pit. Approval was proposed 1 February 2002. This <br />request involved no change in bond, as the Man Pit area carried no bond, but consisted <br />of a Phase I release of liability. <br />History of Operations <br />The following is a brief history of the operations at the Marr Mine during the pemut term from <br />Mazch 1996 through March 2001. <br />Since the mine halted coal extraction in January of 1993, all activities at the Man Mine were <br />limited to reclamation. <br />The 720 Pit and Overburden Stockpile Areas were reseeded in 1995. This was followed by the <br />reseeding of Pit 1 in 1996. Vegetation monitoring was performed on these areas in 1996 and 1999. <br />In 1999 the loadout was backfilled and regraded, proper drainage was reestablished, topsoil was <br />replaced and the azea was reseeded. <br />With the approval of Technical Revision 19, on 11 January 2000, the Division approved the <br />retention of several facilities. The facilities that were approved for retention are the <br />shop/warehouse/office building and associated yazd azea, the mine access road, Ponds A, B, D and <br />Mart Mine Permit Renewal OS <br />17 March 2006 <br />-14- <br />
