The reclamation and seeding of the 720 Pit was completed in <br />1995 and the reclamation and seeding of Pit 1 was completed in 1996. Seeding at the tipple was <br />completed in 1999 and a Phase I Bond Release, SL-02, for the area was approved by the Division <br />on 26 June 2001. <br />The cwrent pemvt application specifies that in order for Ken Coal Company to open either Pit 2 or <br />Pit 3, proposed to lie to the north of Pit 1, the company must submit a permit revision application <br />(pages 780-1R, 2Ra, and SR ofthe application). <br />List of Revisions <br />The following is a list of permitting actions have occwred since the 20 March 2001, permit <br />renewal. <br />Permit Revisions <br />None. <br />2. Technical Revisions <br />a. Technical Revision TR-20 was submitted on 14 June 2001; found complete on 24 June <br />2001; and proposed for approval on 4 September 2001. This revision addressed <br />adequacy questions for Permit Renewal 04 including ownership and control issues and <br />monitoring well information. <br />b. Technical Revision TR-21 was submitted on 24 September 2001 and found incomplete <br />on 5 October 2001. This revision addressed a proposed change to the post-mining ]and <br />use at the mine site. This revision was subsequently withdrawn on 10 August 2004. <br />3. Minot Revisions <br />a. Minor Revision MR-36 was submitted on 1 June 2001 and proposed for approval on 8 <br />June 2001. This revision addressed the cattle-grazing plan for 2001. <br />b. Minor Revision MR-37 was submitted on 10 October 2002 and proposed for approval <br />on 13 January 2003. This revision addressed procedwes for borehole plugging and <br />sealing in the area north of the area that was actively mined. <br />c. Minor Revision MR-38 was submitted on 22 August 2003 and proposed for approval on <br />25 August 2003. This revision provided a reclamation grazing plan. <br />d. Minor Revision MR-39 was submitted on 23 April 2004 and proposed for approval on <br />17 May 2004.
