James Kirkland • • <br />Re: SUP 98-06 <br />Mazch 3, 1993 <br />Pase 2 <br />The applicant shall provide the Department of Planning and Development with a copy of <br />any Federal, State, or local permit applications, approvals. amendments, or releases <br />(e.g., air quality, MLRB, Storntwater, augmentation, etc.) pertaining to Special LJse <br />Pern]1C No. 98-06 within 30 days of their submittal to the respective agency and/or <br />approval by the respective agency. <br />4. Prior to any mining activities commencing, the applicant shall prepare and submit a <br />detailed, scaled mine-site area plan which identifies the location of all electric utilirv <br />lines, support structures, water wells and water pipelines, and/or gas/oil pipelines <br />traversing the permitted property which will require a nvo-hundred foot (2000 either side <br />of the centerline (or radius from center point) safety buffer. Said safety buffers shall be <br />identified on the site plan. Tfte map materials submitted to date do not meet this <br />requirement. - - - <br />5. Prior to extraction activities commencing, the applicant shall submit to the Department of <br />Planning and Development a detailed mining operations plan, which identifies the <br />sequence and directions that the mining activity will follow. Said plan may be combined <br />with the above referenced detailed site area plan. The map materials submitted to date do <br />not meet this requirement. <br />6. The applicant shall file a copy of their Annual Mined Land Rec]amation Report with the <br />Department of Planning and Deve]opment at the time it is submitted to the State of <br />Colorado, Department of Natural Resources, Ivfined Land Reclamation Division. <br />7. The Kirkland Consttvction Company, RLLP, shall develop, operate, and manage the <br />proposed mining-related activity according to the stipulations and requirements of any <br />Access Permit that may be issued by the Colorado Department of Transportation. <br />The applicant shall develop, operate, and manage the mining-related activity according to <br />the rules, regulations, plans and permits administered by the applicable federal, state, and <br />local agencies. Any violation of a rule, regulation, permit, or plan may result in the <br />scheduling of a Shovv/Cause Hearing to consider the revocation of Special Use Permit <br />No. 98-06. <br />There shall be no blasting permitted in association with the mineral extraction activities <br />of Special Use Permit No. 98-06. <br />10. Access to the proposed mining operation shall be from the State Highway system. Any <br />access to the mining operation utilizing a County Road shall require an amendment to' <br />this special use permit and may include additional conditions governing such access. <br />~s <br />11. The hours of operation shall be limited to Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.tn. to <br />6:00 p.m. <br />
