McArdle <br />Senior Reclamation Specialist <br />Dear Mr. McArdle: <br />Enclosed are two sets of the design for the Lower Davis Gulch area. <br />These enc]osed plans show the area after a portion of the "excess <br />fill" has been relocated and the remainder contoured. This will <br />result in a more stable area that will include appropriate drainage <br />provisions. Also depicted are the channel designs for the affected <br />reaches and confluence of the Davis Gulch and Middle Fork of <br />Parachute Creek stream channels. <br />The enclosed drawing, ADDUI8CXOID, shows the following: <br />o Contours of Lower Davis Gulch "Excess Fill" area <br />o Design of Lower Davis Gulch and Middle Fork channels <br />o Design of confluence of above channels <br />The enclosed Figure I shows the design grade for the mine bench. <br />Also shown is the design grade and aiignment of the plant access road <br />across the mine bench. <br />The 72-inch culvert buried in the mine bench and the flume down the <br />face of the mine bench have both been recently inspected and some <br />repairs and modifications conducted.
