<br />Date: September 20, 2002 <br />USFS Personnel Names: Kim Kaal <br />All Personnel Present: Edward Scartezini, Pinacle Construction <br />Project: Bowie, 2ooz Methane Drainage Well Drilling Project <br />Weather/Site Conditions: Clear, 75 degrees <br />Observations: <br />The purpose of today's visit with Edward was to address what needed to be done <br />in terms of reclamation for Bowie's drilling project prior to winter starting. <br />Roadwork for Bowie will be done this week and next week when Bowie will be out <br />money. <br />Some of the general items Edward and I talked about were: <br />• Interim seeding with certified weed free straw needed to be done for <br />roadways and cut slopes <br />• Grade pads to the out slope and install silt fence <br />• Install silt fence at the bottom of topsoil piles <br />• Fill in or fence out mud pits <br />Pull back drill pads to monitoring-sized pad <br />Improve drainage on some of the grade dips and rolling dips, and harden <br />if necessary <br />ObseraazYozzs regarding GVB and nzottitoring well sites: <br />Monitoring_Well i-t6 <br />The silt fence is up but it needs to be buried <br />Fence off or fill in the mud pit <br />Build a cap for the hole <br />Possibly grade the pad to the out slope so water does not pond on the pad <br />Bowie does not need winter access, therefore might leave it like it is <br />Mulch and seed upslope and possibly down slope <br />Don't need silt fence on upslope but it is there so it is olc <br />Silt fenced on downhill side of the pad <br />Quarter track upslope, seed and mulch <br />
