Crushing operations will be set up on the west side of the canyon that runs through the middle of
the leased property. The canyon is approximately 120 feet deep and allows for the mining of
material in benches down the face of the canyon.
The quantity of material available for crushing has been estimated to a depth of 150 feet. If the
estimate is correct, approximate 242,000 cubic yards of raw material is available per acre mined.
During the first year of mining operations it is believed that we will process and transport
approximately 600 tons per day.
The mining process is proposed to occur in phases, with each phase consisting of five acres.
Phase 1 has been started by the previous permit holder and will continue to be our first phase of
operation. Once the first phase mining is complete, restoration of that area will then be
completed. Restoration will consist of restoring the land to a Range Land nature.
Equipment for the production construction materials will be permitted through the various
authorizing agencies prior to each being placed in operation. This site, operation and final
reclamation will be permitted through the State of Colorado, Division of Minerals and Geology
permitting process.
One building is currently on the site. This building currently serves as the office and scale house.
Wells and Septic
No well or septic/sewer permits aze necessary for the operation of the mine. Sanitary waste
disposal will be provided by a local portable toilet provider. Water for dust suppression will be
purchased from an outside source and transported to the mine area.
Access Approval
The request for acces,~ was submitted by the previous permit holder and granted with several
stipulations. Consolidated Constructors is prepazed to agree to and abide by those stipulations
with the request that the dates for completion be scheduled from the date of issuance of the
permit requested herein.
The noted stipulations contained in the pervious permit and are agreed to are stated below:
1 Construct or in our case finish the construction and stabilization of the driving
surface of 2.9 miles of road to the pit entrance. While much of the work was
completed in 2004, by Consolidated Constructors. We will complete the process
this yeaz.
After the crushing operation has begun and the proper materials are available, we
will install the final toping to the road surface with road base and gravel.
Stipulates that within 3 yeazs and with the cooperation of the County Road And
Bridge Department a widening of County Road 136 will take place, however it is
our belief that the work we did in 2004 was at the wider width. The work that we
do this yeaz will be at the same width as was done in 2004.
