indicator of an influence from solution mining. Ground-water sampling would continue to take place on
a quarterly frequency. All proposed laboratory and field constituents are the same for both the
temporary suspension and commercial production time periods. The only difference is the frequency
stipulated for level measurements. In the event that the monitoring data indicate elevated occurrences of
constituents, increased monitoring frequency may be required.
No water quality sampling is required at We1120-4A in either the interim status or commercial
production monitoring plans. We1120-4A is a re-completed B-Groove monitoring well that shows
elevated pH as a result of cement contact through the well perforations. Only water level data is of
value from this well. Well 19-3 was drilled to detect leakage from an evaporation pond that was never
constructed, and has never had sufficient water to collect a sample. Well 19-3 will be checked for water
level during each sampling event and if sufficient water is present a sample will be collected.
Table 3 -Temporary Suspension -Monitoring Plan
Well Water Levels Field
Parameters Water Quality Parameters
See Table 5 for schedule
Frequency Quarterly Quarterly Quarterly
Alluvial A uifeh
~
We1128-1 X X X
Well 21-2 X X X
Well 21-5 X X X
Well 19-3 X When sufficient water is present to collect
sam le.
U er A uifer-Units
~
We1120-8 X X X
Well21-4U
i~
>.--~'tH"49~kS. .Net ~ X
e. t~
Ili ~. .~ ~gi- .-:a X

.t _. 1 X
Well29-4U X X X
We1120-10 X X X
We1120-5 X X X
U er A u'rfer - A Groove
Well21-4A X X X
Well29-4A X X X
Well29-3 X X X
Well 19-2
We1120-4A
Lowey A uifer'- B
iVl%eik~2 ~. :.
Well 21-46 X X
X
Groove "
~''~~~~~ ~.

i ; ' :, .. ;,

X
Well29-2 X X X
Well29-4B X X X
We1120-9 X X X
We1120-46 X X X
Lower A uifer -Dissolution Surface
Well 21-3D X X X
Well 29-4D X G~e'en~shadedvyells`~2'l=~U. f~_~1~., ,.a
Draft Addendum to SOB For Modification No. 9, UIC Area Permit No. CO30858-00000 Page /8 of27
