Existing facilities being used in the exploration operation <br />include the mine portals and yard area, equipment storage area, sediment pond <br />and an access road from County Road 237 to the portal area. The application <br />proposes realignment of the haul/access road, construction of office/ship <br />facilities near the junction of County Road 237 and the mine access road, <br />upgrading of the coal handling facilities {installation of a belt line and <br />enclosed screening facility), expansion of the coal stockpile area and <br />construction of the underground waste disposal area. <br />
