Drill <br />seed 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep following the contour. In areas that cannot <br />be drilled, broadcast seed at double the application rate and cover 1/4 <br />to 1/2 inch deep with a harrow, drag bar, or chain. <br />20. The grantee shall notify the authorized officer at least 24 hours prior <br />to reseeding. Seeding must be completed after September 1 and prior to <br />October 15. <br />21. The area is considered to be satisfactorily reclaimed when: <br />A. All disturbed areas have been recontoured to blend with the natural <br />topography. <br />B. A11 soil erosion associsted with the operation has bean stabilized. <br />C. An acceptable vegetative cover has been established. An acceptable <br />vegetative cover will consist of a percent vegetative cover at <br />least equal to that present prior to disturbance, and a plant species <br />composition at least as desirable as that preaent prior to dis- <br />turbance. <br />Additional work shall be required until these conditions are satisfied. <br />Post Construction <br />22. A11 above-ground facilities with the exception of the fence shall be <br />painted dark green to blend with the surrounding area. <br />23. Pipeline location warning signs shall be installed within five days of <br />construction completion. Each sign shall be permanently marked with the <br />right-of-way serial number. <br />
