Exhibit B <br />Permit Stipulations and Their Status <br />Number <br />Stipulation <br />Sta to s <br />Within 30 days of issuance of the proposed Resolved, <br />decision for the Seneca II-W Mine, the 9/19/85 <br />applicant must update the post-mining land use <br />description of the portion of the permit <br />application to include comments received <br />concerning the proposed use by the legal and <br />equitable owners of records as well as the <br />appropriate state and local agencies which <br />would have to initiate, implement, approve, or <br />authorize the proposed use of the land <br />following reclamation. <br />2 The following springs will be monitored Resolved, <br />tri-annually for discharge, pH, temperature, 5/13/87 <br />and conductance: 5-1, S-5, S-7, S-9, 5-23, <br />5-41, and Olson Spring (5-45 ). <br />In addition to the above field parameters, the <br />following springs will be sampled in August <br />for water quality analyses: S-9, 5-41, and <br />Olson Spring (5-45 ). <br />3 Wells at site GW-42-S2W-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6A, Resolved, <br />and 7A will be monitored monthly for water 5/13/87 <br />level (to be reported in feet above or below <br />land surface datum) and field parameters <br />(temperature, specific conductance and pH). <br />Quarterly water quality samples will also be <br />taken at each well for the same parameters as <br />reported in the permit application package in <br />Table 7-77. <br />4 Peabody Coal Company must submit to, and, Resolved, <br />have approved by the Division a plan for 5/13/87 <br />monitoring spoils water. This plan should <br />include installation of spoils monitoring <br />wells, a schedule of monitoring and a listing <br />of parameters to be monitored. This plan must <br />be submitted wifhin 30 days of permit issuance. <br />0736G <br />
