-17- VI. Hvdroloaic Balance: Ground Water - Rul The ground water sections of the permit application can be found in Volume I, pages `1.04-31 through 2.04-44. Additional yround water information was submitted in the Responses to the Preliminary Adequacy Review dated November 11, 1981 and in responses dated September 30, 1982. A map of the flooded underground mine workings was submitted on December 14, 1982. The applicant has installed numerous ground water monitoring wells and has developed a sufficient pattern of wells to adequately monitor ground water. The applicant has also committed to ..monthly measurement of ground water levels and quarterly collection of water quality samples" on pages 4.05-1U and 4.05-11 of the application. However, the applicant has not specified which monitoring wells will be monitored, and the parameters to be monitored at each well. The following stipulation requires that a more detailed ground water monitoring plan be submitted and approved by the Division, in order to find the applicant in compliance with Rule 4.05.13(1). Stipulation No. 4 THE PERMITTEE SHALL SUBMIT TU THE DIVISION, FOk APPROVAL, A DETAILED GRUUNU WATER MONITORING PLAN. THIS PLAN SHALL BE SUBMITTEU WITHIN 30 OAYS OF THE ISSUANCE OF THIS PERMIT DOCUMENT. THIS PLAN SHALL INCLUDE: 1) A MAP SHOWING THE LOCATION OF HLL GROUNU WATER WELLS TU BE MOIVITURED, 2) A TABLE WHICH OUTLINES THE FREQUENCY OF MONITORING, ANO 3) A LIST OF PARAMETERS TU BE MUNITOREU. ONCE A PLAN HAS BEEN APPROVED, MONITORING SHALL COMMENCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PLAN AND MONITORING DATA WILL BE SUBMITTED TU THE DIVISION QUARTERLY. The applicant plans to develop and use aground water well for water needed on-site. A temporary use permit (No. 25724-F) for a 250 gpm industrial well has been granted by the State Engineer. However, the augmentation plan for use of water from this well has not been finalized. Therefore the following stipulation is required: Stipulation No. 5 THE PERMITTEE MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF THE AUGMENTATION PLAN THAT HN5 BEEN APPROVED BY THE STNTE ENGINEER'S OFFICE AND WATER COURT FUR USE OF WATER FROM THE INDUSTRIAL WELL COVERED BY TEMPORARY USE PERMIT IVO. 25724-F PRIUk TO USE OF ANY WATER FROM THE WELL.
