After reviewing you comments and TR-21 I see
where you were correct concerning the Midpoint temperatures and
took youR suggestion to use Table 6 to find the effective precipi-
tation amounts. I have also attached a revised TABLE AND EXt1IBIT
DATA sheet showing the constants I used to create the tables. I
will address the questions posed in the order you presented them in
your letter.
• I revised Table C1 subtracting the wetland areas and
losses from the gross lake evaporation as you suggested.
feel we have done this. Tlris number is then carried into
Table Al that recaps the total system losses and credits.
An alternate method would to be to subtract the disturbed
wetland area from ttre gross lake area created by mining
and then calculating the evaporative loss from ttre net
lake area. I have used this method on the accounting
form to avoid confusing the operator when they fill out
the sheet each month. I have revised the accounting Eorm
as you suggested.
• I (rave revised Exhibits A1, B1 and C1 and TABLE Al
submitted previously. After reviewirrq TR-21 I found that
I had used the mean monthly temperatures for ttre first
day of the month instead of the 15th. So I corrected the
midpoint temperatures as you suggested and recalculated
the values in the Blaney-Griddle table. I found this had
c~Op~f
