the Reorganized Debtors of the following reduced fees and <br />expenses of professionals of the USWA: <br />ee gl~penses <br />Cohen, Weiss ~ Simon $61,500.00 $11,000.00 <br />(representing a $9,969.50 reduction in fees and a <br />$3,865.02 reduction in expenses) <br />Arnold & Porter <br />$38,500.00 <br />0 <br />(representing a $8,038.00 reduction in fees) <br />Keilin and Bloom $300,000.00 $9,000.00 <br />(representing a $600,000.00 reduction in fees and a <br />$3,443.49 reduction in expenses) <br />Accordingly, under the proposed settlement, the Application would <br />be reduced by $625,316.01 in total (approximately 608 of the <br />amount originally sought) and allowed and paid by the Reorganized <br />Debtors in the amount of $420,000 (approximately 408 of the <br />amount originally sought). <br />At the October 6 hearing, the parties advised the Court that <br />the amounts proposed to be allowed were negotiated amounts, based <br />upon the parties informed assessments of the facts and <br />circumstances of the cases and the relative litigation risks of <br />each side as to legal issues raised by the Application and the <br />objection to the Application. 'Fhe Reorganized Debtors <br />represented to the Court-that, in their business judgment, the <br />settlement reached by the parties was reasonable and should be <br />approved.
