During the performance of mechanical integrity tests of the American Soda Piceance facility
wellfield, wells 29-22, 29-20, 29-24, 20-31, and 20-76 failed to pass the minimum requirement of
300 psi for 30 minutes with less than a l Oqa pressure loss.
ASLLP is in the process of evaluating the possibility that the cast iron bridge plugs are leaking.
On wells 29-22 and 20-76, ASLLP will set additional bridge plugs and retest the mechanical
integrity. This procedure should be complete by 9-1-04.
ASLLP plans to plug both 7" casing strings with cement from the bridge plugs to the surface
on wells 29-20, 29-24, and 20-31.
