THIS REPORT SHALL BE OUE MARCH 31 OF EACH YEAR Df <br />THIS PERMIT TERM, WITH THE FIRST REPORT DUE MARCH 31, 1984. THE ANNUAL <br />HYDROLOGIC REPORT SHALL INCLUDE INFORMATION AND ANALYSES OF DATA <br />COLLECTED DURING THE PREVIOUS CALENDAR YEAR (I.E., JANUARY 1, 7983 TO <br />DECEMBER 31, 1983). THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION, ANALYSES AND <br />DESCRIPTIONS SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE ANNUAL REPORT: <br />A) SUMMATIONS OF ALL SURFACE AND GROUND WATER QUALITY AND QUANTITY <br />MONITORING DATA; <br />Bj HYOROGRAPHS OF SURFACE WATER FLOWS, MINE WATER DISCHARGES, ANO <br />GROUND WATER LEVELS; <br />Cj PIEZOMETRIC SURFACE MAPS FOR THE MIDDLE SANDSTONE, WHITE SANDSTONES, <br />YAMPA RIVER ALLUVIUM, ANO THE WILLIAMS FORK RIVER ALLUVIUM; <br />D) DESCRIPTION OF OBSERVED CHANGES OR FLUCTUATIONS IN GROUND AND <br />SURFACE WATER QUALITY; <br />Ej DESCRIPTION OF OBSERVED CHANGES OR FLUCTUATIONS IN GROUND WATER <br />LEVELS, MINE WATER DISCHARGES, AND IN SURFACE WATER FLOWS; <br />F} DESCRIPTION OF OBSERVED MINING-RELATED IMPACTS TO GROUND AND SURFACE <br />WATERS; <br />G) DESCRIPTION OF THOSE MEASURES UNDERTAKEN TO MINIMIZE GROUND ANO <br />SURFACE WATER IMPACTS DURING THE YEAR; <br />H) PROJECTION OF POSSIBLE HYDROLOGIC IMPACTS OF MINING IN THE UPCOMING <br />YEAR; AND <br />I) DESCRIPTION OF MEASURES WHICH WILL BE UNDERTAKEN TO MINIMIZE THESE <br />PROJECTED HYDROLOGIC IMPACTS, SHOULD THEY OCCUR. <br />F. Cumulative Hydrologic Impacts Stud <br />The Eagle No. 5 and No. 9 Mines fall within the general area examined in a <br />Cumulative Hydrologic Impact Study prepared in January, 1982, by Bishop, et al <br />(1982). The 1982 Study considered the surface water impacts of coal mining on <br />the Yampa River above the U.S. Geological Survey gaging station at Maybell, <br />Colorado. The 1982 Study included all coal mining anticipated at that time. <br />Since then, the Foidel Creek underground mine on Foidel Creek near Steamboat <br />Springs, has been permitted, and the Sugarloaf surface mine has been proposed <br />near Lay, Colorado. These mines are considered "anticipated mining" today, <br />therefore, the pro,}ections made in the 1982 Study have been revised in this <br />findings document to include these additional mining operations.
