Wednesday, June 19. 1996 <br />Site inspection on this day focused entirely on sites located south <br />of Highway 14. <br />Time Site <br />Comments and observations <br />8:27 NE12 This site lies inside the New Elk permit <br />area north of Apache Canyon. It is an <br />open hole which requires sealing and pad <br />reclamation. <br />8:43 NE16 This site is reclaimed as is a section of <br />the spur road leading to the site. The <br />remainder of the road spur will be left <br />to revegetate naturally. <br />8:52 NE5 This site requires reclamation as does <br />the road spur which leads to the site. <br />from site NE12. <br />9:04 NE14 This site lies northwest of the main road <br />in Apache Canyon and requires <br />reclamation. <br />9:09 NE13 This site lies at the end of a spur road <br />which branches off the road to site NE14. <br />Both the site and the road require <br />reclamation which will require a <br />significant amount of earthwork. <br />All SF sites are accessed via the main road up Cherry Canyon. <br />9:52 SF5 This site is located on the south-facing slope <br />of Cherry Canyon. The hole and pad was <br />previously reclaimed. The road is showing <br />decent revegetation and will require a minimal <br />amount of reclamation work. <br />10:00 SF6 This site is located at the end of the spur <br /> road which continues past SF5. The site has <br /> been previously reclaimed. <br />10:16 SF3 This site is located along another spur road <br /> which is further up Cherry Canyon. The site <br /> has been previously reclaimed. <br />10:20 SF32 This site is located further up the same spur <br /> road as SF3. It is currently completed as a <br /> monitoring well and will require sealing and <br /> pad reclamation. <br />10:26 SF4 This site is located further up the same road <br /> and has been previously reclaimed. <br />
