<br />Introduction <br /> <br />This document is the approval package proposed by the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division (the Division) for bond release for the Meeker Area <br />Mines; Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division File No. C-81-032; The <br />package contains three parts. These include: 1) a summary of the review <br />process history; 2) written findings of the Division regarding compliance with <br />the bond release requirements of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining and <br />Reclamation Act and regulations promulgated thereunder; and 3) the final <br />decision to approve the request for partial bond release. <br />Detailed Information about the review process can be found in the Act and the <br />Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. All <br />Rules referenced within this document are contained within the Regulations. <br />Detailed information about the mining and reclamation operations can be found <br />in the permit application on file at the Division, 1313 Sherman Street; <br />Room 423, Denver, Colorado 80203, and at the Rio Blanco County Clerk and <br />Recorder's Office in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. <br />
