No sheen was observed on the groundwater. A Metro Wastewater Reclamation <br />District groundwater monitoring well, located 250' upstream from the teak ske, was <br />checked for possible contamination. None was found. <br />Over the last few days Sinclair has been working on replaGng the pipeline. Once <br />replaced and backfilied, a soil sampling boring rig wilt be brought to the site to determine <br />the extent of the contamination. Following this determination, an in situ rernediation <br />protect will be designed and implemented. <br />As a side note, the attempted tapping of our pipeline, which led to this release, <br />has been reported to the Federal Bureau of investigation and an investigation is <br />ongoing. <br />If you have any questions about Slndair's Incident response, please tali meat <br />3072&3643.
