• P~ I <br />Page 23 of 40 <br />Permit No.: CO-0034665 <br />C. Specific Limitations and Self-Monitoring Requirements <br />5. Non-storm water discharges. <br />a. Except as provided in Part I.C.S.b. (below), <br />discharges of material other than storm water must <br />be in compliance with this NPDES permit issued for <br />the discharge (i.e., process wastewater from Outfall <br />001). <br />b. The following non-storm water discharges may be <br />authorized by this permit provided the non-storm <br />water component of the discharge is in compliance <br />with Part I.C.4.d.(3)(g) (measures and controls for <br />non-storm water discharges): discharges from fire <br />fighting activities; fire hydrant flushings; potable <br />water sources including waterline flushings; <br />irrigation drainage; lawn watering; routine external <br />building washdown which does not use detergents or <br />other compounds; pavement washwaters where spills or <br />leaks of toxic or hazardous materials have not <br />occurred (unless all spilled material has been <br />removed) and where detergents are not used; air <br />conditioning condensate that has not been <br />contaminated by industrial activity and no chemicals <br />have been added to it; naturally occurring springs <br />which have not been altered by the industrial <br />activity; uncontaminated ground water; and <br />foundation or footing drains where flows are not <br />contaminated with process materials such as ' <br />solvents. <br />
