The average flow <br />rate (in million gallons per day) during the reporting <br />period. and the daily maximum flow (maximum volume discharged <br />during a 24-hour period) shall b~eported. <br />~/ In the event that an oil sheen or floating oil is observed <br />in the: discharge, a grab sample shall be immediately taken, <br />analyzed and reported. The//sample shall not exceed 10 mg/L. <br />~/ Quarte:rly samples shall be'collected during the months of <br />January, April, July, and'October, if a continual discharge <br />occurE:. If the discharge occurs on an intermittent basis, <br />the quarterly sample shall be collected during the period <br />when ghat intermittent discharge occurs. <br />~/ To the: extent practicable, samples should be collected from <br />the discharge resulting from a storm event that is greater <br />than 0.1 inches in magnitude and that occurs at least 72 <br />hours from the 'reviouely measurable (greater than 0.1 inch <br />rainfall) etor~event. To the extent practicable, the grab <br />sample shall pe taken during the first 30 minutes of the <br />discharge.
