The modified
information does not fully address the concerns discussed at the
November 19th meeting, and the following information should be
submitted prior to permit revision approval. Please request this
information from the applicant.
1. The narrative should be expanded to explain how the
horizontal lifts would be constructed, including the
method for placing material, the equipment to be used,
lift thicknesses, and how the construction method meets
MLRD's horizontal lift requirement.
2. The construction plan should be expanded to include the
methodology for preventing void formation and for
achieving densities to ensure mass stability. The
construction plan should also include construction
drawings, a detailed narrative of the fill
construction, and a construction schedule for
appurtenances.
If you have any questions, please call Roger Baker at (303) 644-
2939 or me at 844-2546.
Sincerely,
~ ~ `~
Ranvir Singh, Chief
Federal Lands Branch
