Lloyd Hayes
' 105 Palmer Drive
Fort Collins, Colorado 80521
' Dear Mr. Hayes:
I am in receipt of an archaeological survey conducted
' by E. Charles Adams of the Cooley Gravel mine near Morrison.
In his report to you Mr. Adams rather enthusiastically
granted an archaeological clearance for the project. Since
Mr. Adams is not formally enployed by the Office of the State
Archaeologist he is not officially delegated the responsibility
to issue any archaeological clearances Eor the state, I am
' writing therefore to clarify any questions his letter might
provoke.
On the basis of Mr. Adams survey it is possible for
' this office to grant an archaeological clearance for the
project and this letter constitutes such an official clearance.
' Sincerely,
~ ~ -,~~
James J. ester
~cting State Archaeologist
jn
1
1
