' htr. Dan Mathews Page Five
July 8, 1982
1
2. As recommended by Rocky Mountain Geotechnical, a culvert will be
' placed at a station on the access road at approximately station
7+50. This culvert is indicated on the Drainage and Sediment
Control Plan Map (f4ap S-1), previously submitted to the Division,
' and indicated as Culvert A.
The access road will be surfaced with gravel.
3. As described above, a culvert has been designed for placement at
section 7+50 as previously shown on the Drainage and Sediment
Control Plan t•1ap (Map S-1).
' Stipulation No. 11
fJo response is necessary. '
Stipulation flo. 12
' The collection sites for the solid waste generated at the Bear No. 3
operation are shown on the f4ine Facilities Map (hlap 10). Collection
sites will consist of large containers or barrels which can be easily
' transported from the mine site to the disposal area. Each container
will be properly maintained to allow no spillage or leakage of the
combustible material. Used oil will be stored in tanks near the shop
' area. These tanks will be maintained to contain used oil and prevent
contamination to adjacent areas. The facility will be regularly
pumped to provide adequate storage volume and preclude overtopping,
and will be sold to a local oil salvage dealer, or disposed of
' appropriately at the Delta County Landfill.
Stipulation No. 13
' Bear Coal Company will provide the Division information regarding the
loadout facility which will be used by the Bear No. 3 Mine in the near
' future under separate cover.
Stipulation No. 15
The subsidence monitoring monument locations have been previously
submitted to the Division in the original Bear No. 3 permit
application and are indicated on the Geology/Hydrology htap (Map 6).
' There are seven (7)
mining. A typical monitoring
subsidence sites located over the area
monitoring monument detail of planned
is attached
as Figure 6.
1
A G ~ IJNG.
