Dan Mathews Page Eight t•1ay 27, 1982 Stipulation No. 14 The Bear Coal Company will not push snow from the mine surface I facilities beyond the drainage and sediment control structures at the Bear No. 3 site. Inasmuch as possible, snow Will be pushed into designated areas as shown on the revised t•1ine Facilities Map (61ap 10). Utilizing selected locations for snow disposal will minimize the possibility that snow will be pushed outside the limits of the drainage and sediment control structures. Stipulation IJo. 15 Bear Coal Company will place two several subsidence monitoring points as above the first panel to be extracted in the Bear No. 3 operations. These stations Trill be installed during the summer of 1982 so that they will be in place prior to any secondary extraction of coal from the underground operation. These points will be su+-veyed on a semi-annual basis for elevation and coordinates. e results of the sw-vey will be submitted to tha ivision. Again, it must be stated that approval of Stipulation No. 1 and Stipulation No. 10 be granted as soon as possible so that no delay in the construction for the Eear No. 3 surface facilities will be l encountered. As you know, no surface disturbance can be initiated 1 o-:ithout the construction of a drainage and sediment control plan; and, furthermore, it is imperative that the Bear Coal Company be J alloo-red to initiate construction of the portal face-up stability as soon as practicable in order to meet coal production deadlines.
