<br />5. Impact on Quality of Life: Existing land use p tterns in U,e
<br />Animas Valley from Durango nortl, to Hermosa contain a miX ure of single
<br />family residential, mobile },ome parks, commercial, as well as extractive
<br />and related industrial activities. In the immediate vi inity of t},e
<br />proposed sandpit is t},e United Construction wetlands extra tier and fill
<br />operation, ae wall as the Val-Air Gliderport, in addition o residential
<br />properties, Given t},e cl,ezactor of tl,e existing land u e patterns in
<br />t},e immediate vicinity and t},e nature of t},e proposed operation, it.
