THE PEIL`fITTEE AND THE DIVISION WILL DETERifINE A MEANS FOR:'THE EVALUATION
OF SPECIES DIVERSITY AT THE McCLP2tE SITE WITHIN 90 DAYS OF PERI'ST
ISSUANCE.
The Division is concerned with the ability of Salt Creek Mining Company to
reclaim the area given the low annual precipitation. The following .
stipulation is therefore required:
13. No pesticides will be
used in this operation..
Shrub density revegetation standards are required by the Division to ensure
the recreation of big game habitat through reclamation. Specific details
of shrub density requirements are given in the Vegetation Section of this
~ document. Stipulations have been attached to these findings to provide far
~ the establishment of shrub densities which will enhance wildlife habitat
after the mine is successfully reclaiaed.
