Jim Stark
May 30, 2001
Page 2
4.30.1(2)(d) EFCI temporarily ceased coal production in December 2000, and shipped all of
the stockpiled coal by the end of January 2001. At this point the operation was
placed in "standby" status to evaluate any options to resume operation. Some
obsolete equipment and scrap materials were sold and removed from the
property, but no other reclamation activities have occurred. Currently, EFCI is
working with two outside groups in an evaluation to re-start the mine. This
process is expected to take a minimum of 60 days to complete.
Contact names and phone numbers remain the same as stated in the permit at this time.
Please contact me at your convenience if you have any questions or require additional
information.
Sincerely,
Energy Fuels
Allen S.
