Quantity- Lozr Flow and Seasonal Variations: "The Basic Standards anSeptember 30, 1989, outlines the use of chronic and acute flows and seasonal variations to determine effluent limitations. The flows which will be used for this permit are the chronic flow expected to occur for thirty consecutive days once in three years (30E3) and the acute flow expected to occur on one day once in thre~a years (lE3). These flows have been determined by the Water Qu,~lity Control Division for the Los Pinos River at the outlet t~~ Vallecito Reservoir using USGS gage 1109353500 about five miles above the discharge point, and are 21 cfs annually for both the chronic flow (30E3) and the acute flow (lE3). C, Impacts on Downstream Water Supplies or Other Receiving Waters: The Town of Bayfield Water Treatment Plant intake is located approximately 6.5 miles below the discharge point for this wastewater treatment works. No adverse effects from the treated wastewater discharge are anticipated, but the Town of Bayfield must be notified immediately if any upsets occur at the wastewater treatment works.
