Service Area s.nd Connector Districts: <br />The service area for the wastewater treatment works, shown in Figure <br />2 of the permit, is a low density rural development northeast of the <br />City of Duran€;o. The main subdivision within the district is Forest <br />Lakes but Piney River Ranches Subdivision also has a service <br />agreement witki the district. The district currently serves about 60 <br />dwelling unite: but has the potential for 500 units. Two of the <br />existing unite: are in Pine River Ranches which has a potential for <br />50 total units. The phase I wastewater treatment works is designed <br />to serve 200 units. <br />B. FACILITY EVALUATION: <br />A. Infiltration/Inflow (I/I): <br />Even though the sewage collection system is relatively new PVC pipe, <br />a flow of approximately 20,000 gpd is contributed by I/I during wet <br />periods. Most of this flow is reported to be from the manholes in <br />the system. The district is studying the problem and plans to make <br />corrections as resources are available. <br />
