-21- <br />Stipulation No. 1 <br />THE PERMITTEE WILL SUBMIT TO THE DIVISION QUARTERLY MONITORING REPORTS <br />FOR BOTH THE TWIN PINES MONITORING WELL AND FOR THE CALDIROLA MINE <br />WELL. THE MONITORING REPORTS MUST INCLUDE MONTHLY WATER LEVEL <br />MEASUREMENTS, AND MEASUREMENTS OF pH AND ELECTRO-CONDUCTIVITY. <br />THE QUALITY OF WATER IN BOTH WELLS MUST BE MONITORED QUARTERLY ACCORDING <br />TO THE FOLLOWING PARAMETERS: <br />pH POTASSIUM <br />CONDUCTIVITY (at 25oC) SODIUM <br />T.D.S. SULFATE <br />TOTAL HARDNESS ALUMINUM <br />S.A.R. THIS REPORT IS TU INCLUDE A MINE 'WORKIfVGS MAP SHOWING <br />THE LOCATION AND QUANTITY OF INFLOWS; A TABLE KEYED TO THE MINE MAP <br />WHICH SHALL CONTAIN THE SOURCES (i.e., pH, ELECTRO-CONDUCTIVITY AND <br />TEMPERATURE) OF ALL INFLOWS; A TABLE CONTAINING RECORDS OF WATER <br />DISCHARGED FROM THE MINE, CONSUh1ED IN THE MINE, AND IMPORTED FOR <br />USE WITHIN THE MINE; A DISCUSSION OF WATER BALANCE WITHIN THE MINE; <br />AND FINALLY, A PROJECTION OF HYDROLOGIC IMPACTS OF MINING. THIS <br />REPORT MUST INCLUDE AN ESTIMATE OF THE ELE`JATIONS OF WATER IN THE <br />CALDIROLA MINE. THE REPORT 'BILL BE DUE QUARTERLY BEGINNING ON <br />JULY 1, 1984. <br />In addition, the State Engineer in the previously referenced memo advised <br />that dewatering of amine and use of water for dust suppression and for <br />mechanical purposes is considered a beneficial use of water. A water <br />right is therefore necessary prior to using or pumping the mine water. <br />Consequently, the Division deems it necessary to impose the following <br />stipulation to insure the operation complies with state water law. <br />
