<br />INTRODUCTION <br />This document is the approval package prepared by the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division for the proposed Foidel Creek Underground Coal <br />Mine. The document contains the "Proposed Decision to Approve the Permit <br />Revision Application"; a summary describing the history of the review of <br />the permit revision application; the environment affected by the mining <br />operation, and the mining and reclamation plan; and the Division's <br />written findings of compliance required by the Colorado Surface Coal <br />Mining Reclamation Act. Detailed information about the review process <br />can be found in the Act and the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. All Rules referenced in this document <br />are contained within the Reguations. Detailed information about the <br />proposed mining and rec]amation operation can be found in the permit <br />application on file (C-056-82) in the public record maintained by the <br />Division and at the County Clerks Office for Routt County located at 522 <br />Lincoln Avenue, Steamboat Springs, Colorado. <br />
