Sodium bicarbonate analysis in grams/liter will be obtained <br />from injection and recovery flows at least 3/week to determine production from each cavity. <br />8. The maximum surface injection pressure is 610 psig. <br />Volume 6 of the Mine Plan presents a comprehensive monitoring program for monitoring <br />surface and groundwater, subsidence, cavity configuration, mud gel and biology. <br />6.6 PROJECT SCHEDULE AND AFFECTED ACREAGE <br />Plant construction began in May, 1990 with plant operation initiated in February, 1991. <br />Approximately 257 total acres of land will be affected by the construction and operation at <br />the solution mine site. In addition to the mine site, 30 acres are associated with the access <br />road ROW, 12 acres for the natural gas ROW, and 2 acres for the telephone ROW. <br />Approximately 66 acres have been disturbed for mine site and well field including 34 acres <br />for the plant site, topsoil embankment and evaporation ponds and 32 acres are associated <br />with the solution mining anti monitoring well field. With each year of operation, 6 acres of <br />new disturbance will occur as a result of on-going expansion of the well field. The well <br />field will be reclaimed a:. cavities are mined-out and the wells are abandoned.
