Alteration of the mining plan in a few specific locations.
3.i Upgrading the reclamation plan to include some new techniques
andand m..~~
4.) Upgrading the baseline information in the original permit. /
5.) Feplacement of the origina] permit maps with new, more
detailed maps which reflect same of the changes that have
occurred in surrounding areas.
6.1 Integration of the Daniel's Sand R2 reclamation plan with the
reclamation plans of the adjacent Castle Concrete Sand Fit
operation to create a new plan that will be more compatible
with surrounding land use changes that have occurred since the
original permit was prepared.
• Most of the materials in the original permit will be replaced with
new information included in this amendment. However, the fundamental
approach to reclamation +nnnnranhv orQ,ductian will not chaoae_.
drastically in mast areas, but the approach will be expanded to include
a much larger area. ~In many respects, the amendment constitutes a
permit rewrite, not s``o much because the permit must be rewritten, but
that the amendment is large enough that it is simply easier and less
expensive to rewrite than to modifv.l A few of the minor exhibits will
be carried over intact from the original permit as no changes are
necessary in those exhibits.
t~ J
F'A6E ~ CIF ~ - INTRCIDUCTICIN
