Riprap material must consist of durable irregular rock having a minimum D-50 of 6 inches and a D-Max of 18 inches installed in accordance with drawing number 3. The riprap shall extend 10 feet down the outslope of the spillway. The Project Manager will authorize the use of large non-specification riprap boulders currently existing on this spillway for placement on the outslope area of the spillway to augment the specification rock at this location. 9. TASK 13-REVEGETATION. The Work Description is changed and clarified to include the following: As clarification, all areas affected by tasks 1 through 12 will be reseeded in accordance with the attached revegetation specifications for broadcast seeding. Please refer to the seedbed preparation, broadcast seeding, mulching and crimping sections of the attached revegetation specifications As clarification, after seed is broadcast over the site, the seed will be raked or lightly harrowed into the upper 1 /4 to 1 /2 inch of the surface. The job price cost will cover payment of all costs associated with each component of the revegetation project. 10. TASK 14-REFORESTATION. One area above Pond and ditch 15-P20 will require the planting of native trees to help stabilize steep slopes. The Work Description is changed to include the following: A total of 250 tublings will be planted above pond and ditch 15-P20. Tublings will not be planted south of pond 22-P17. 4
