. .: `
Mr. Rocky Bowman -2- August 10, 1984
There were two other items that warrant mentioning. The Notice of Intent does
not commit to reseeding the sites since little disturbance is expected. The
Division can allow this but reserves the right to require reseeding if an
inspection identifies a problem. Also, WECC indicates on the last page of the
Notice text that if sufficient water is encountered, WECC and the US FS might
make the water available to cattle and wildlife. I just want to remind you
that putting the water to :"beneficial use" will require a permit from the
State Engineer's office and, if permanent, it will require Division approval
in accordance with Rule 4.05.14.
In summary, your Notice is complete. Operations may proceed as soon as you
have satisfied the bonding requirements. I will be issuing an authorization
letter for your project as soon as your bond response is approved.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely~~
~ --
L
Robert G. Liddle
Reclamation Specialist
RGL/pjh
Doc. No. 3431
