fluid). The receivers will be lowered down the short 4'/2' tubing until the bottom
receiver is 20 feet above elevation of the highest source. The sources will be
detonated sequentially, lowest to highest.
NSA estimates this survey will take two days for on-site data collection.
After data collection is complete, NSA's personnel will return to Golden,
Colorado, to process the data, generate images, and prepare a final report. Data
processing and report preparation will be completed within 15 working days from
completion of data collection.
Recognizing that the goal of the project is to determine that this seismic
imaging technology is effective in mapping caverns produced by solution mining,
NSA will prepare a final report, including complete documentation of the test,
including study objectives and results, deployment and data collection, and data
processing and interpretation.
At completion of the final report, NSA will provide all field data, photographs,
survey data, and reporting, including images and supporting graphics, in
electronic format.
In addition, at the discretion of American Soda, NSA will make Tim Ross and a
senior geophysicist, Joe Descour, available to attend meetings with the
governing agencies for the purpose of discussing the seismic methods and
interpretations.
The sensor array that NSA will purchase from High Tech, Inc., on behalf of
American Soda will consist of a 10-channel cable, instrumented with 10
hydrophones, attached at 20-ft intervals.
