However, the Division was not able to <br />find the location of ditches D-B26 and D-B31 on proposed Map No. 20 or the proposed <br />Map No. 21 map series. The V ditch design table on proposed page Exh-8-29 shows that <br />these two ditches have been deleted. Please explain. <br />42. The culvert summary table on proposed page Exh-8-31 shows that there is a culvert C- <br />B 17. However, the Division could not find this culvert on any of the drainage maps. <br />Please explain. <br />Applicant Violator Svstem <br />43. For the review of PR-OS and PR-06, the Division sent a letter, dated September 14, 2001, <br />concerning ownership and identification of interests information. The requested <br />information was submitted and approved with PR-O5. <br />44. The Division has conducted an initial computer check of the Applicant Violator System. <br />The recommendation was a conditional issue. These conditions were addressed in <br />Stipulation No. 12 that had been attached to the approval for PR-O5. <br />Responses From Other Aeencies <br />45. In a letter dated August 24, 2001, the Division forwarded to BRL a letter from the <br />Colorado Division of Water Resources (CDWR). In that letter, dated August 23, 2001, <br />the CDWR requested an augmentation plan by BRL for the depletion caused by storage <br />and evaporation of water in the proposed pond. Please comment. <br />46. In a letter dated September 14, 2001, the Division forwarded to BRL a comment letter <br />conceming PR-06 from the Colorado Historical Society (CHS). In that letter, dated <br />August 23, 2001, the CHS stated that no cultural resources will be affected by the <br />proposed operations. <br />47. In a letter dated September 14, 2001, the Division forwarded to BRL a comment letter <br />concerning PR-06 from the United States Forest Service (USFS). In that letter, dated <br />August 28, the USFS had no concerns except to say that the activities proposed in PR-06 <br />are required in the Iron Point Tract Federal Lease approval. <br />48. In a letter to the Office of Surface Mining (OSM) dated September 20, 2001, the Division <br />requested that OSM enter into consultation with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service <br />(USF&WS) concerning water depletion and the Windy Gap Process. OSM sent a letter to <br />the USF&WS, dated September 24, 2001 and forwazded to BRL on September 27, 2001, <br />requesting the consultation. The Division will inform BRL as to the progress of that <br />consultation. <br />
