J. J. Dudash -2- May 17, 2006
8. The runoff calculations shown in Volume IX Appendix B, Probable Hydrologic
Consequences, assumes the first two benches of the gob pile are covered with coverFll.
9. The haul road on the gob pile is now shown in a reclaimed configuration, with no
drainage ditches on either side of the road. See Volume IX, Figure 2.
10. Updated Volume III, E~-8-13, ditch and culvert summary sheet.
11. See updated V-Ditch Design in Volume III on pages Ear-8-29, 29i. See page Exh-8-31
for updated Culvert summary and minimum siting requirements.
12. Changed text in Volume IX to reflect actual conditions and current reclamation efforts.
13. Updated Volume IX, Appendix A, Salvage and Reclamation Volumes.
As mentioned in the MR-66 application letter, BRL plans to submit an application for a technical
revision to place gob material in the excavated location. You will note, in Appendix A of Volume
IX there appears to be an excess quantity of coverfill and topsoil. BRL plans to reclaim the new
gob pile with this material and thus will include it as part of the reclamation plan for the new gob
pile.
The following data are enclosed:
Volume II Maps 15-3, 21-3 and 20
Volume III Appendix 8, pages 8-17,18,19,29,31
Volume IX Text, Appendix B, Figures 1 - 3.
Sincerely,
J.
