Technical Revision Application, new borrow area and revised drainage plan

Dear Mr. Dudash:
On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, (BRL), enclosed is an application for a technical revision.
The proposed revision is to create a borrow area in order to cover the existing gob pile and
redesign the drainage plan for the as-built gob pile and the newly created borrow area.
Right of Entry
The new disturbance is located on land owned by BRL.
Disturbed and Affected Area
The additional disturbed and affected area caused by the new borrow area are 2.8 acres.

See Volume VI, Cultural Resources, item 3.
Reclamation Estimate ~ ~ ~'°
A reclamation estimate is enclosed. lire estimated reclamation expense is $9,278. The bond
held for MR-66 which provided for reclamation in the same area is $15,757. Therefore a credit
of $6,469 is due.
The following discussion explains the revisions to the drainage plan.
1. Re-numbered and reconfigured all drainage areas for gob pile. The only ditch with its
original name and location is Ditch F7. See Volume Ix Figure 2 for location of new site
ditches and culverts.
2. Renumbered and reconfigured all drainage areas for the original gob pile. See Map 15-3
for location of new site ditches and culverts.
3. Removed culverts CF3 - CF5 from gob pile. See updated Volume IX Figure 2.
4. Updated Map 20 to reflect changes to drainage design as part of TR-39 and this TR
application.
5. Renamed Ditch G1, Ditch D4, see Map 15-3.
6. Changed Drainage Area F, G and H1. See Map 20 for updated drainage areas.
7. Per Division request, increased the Curve number for the Mixed Shrub from 41 to 57.
